MINUTES FROM October 18, 2011, 6:00 P.M.

Regional Health Department


Members present:  Phillip Green, Stan Mitchell, Lori Barker, Tom Menees, Charlie Grooms, Rob Adcock, Tim James, Keith Curlin and Jaclyn Cook.


The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Phillip Green.


The minutes from September 2011 meeting were presented for approval.  Stan Mitchell made a motion to accept the minutes, and Tom Meness seconded the motion.  The motion carried.


Phillip Green announced that the ICS 300 & 400 classes had to be postponed.  Classes will be rescheduled at a later date.


Phillip Green announced that most fire departments have received the 800 MHz radio swap outs, and they are still in the process of getting all the radios swapped.


The fire departments are still putting the word out in regards to the county wide fire protection program.


Jaclyn Cook with Civil Air Patrol was present at the meeting as the new Public Affairs Officer and gave an update on the existing programs made available through the Civil Air Patrol.


Keith Curlin noted that the Obion County POD plan had been given to Mr. Danny Jowers for review and that in the near future they would be setting up a time to do a walk thru of the school with school officials, EMA, Sheriff, and the local health department director.


With no further business, Tom Meness made a motion to adjourn the meeting, a second came from Stan Mitchell.


The next meeting is scheduled for November 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
